Wow...I have been busy.  Sorry I haven't been able to...well I've been able too, but I've just been going crazy trying to get everything done.

If you check my short film myspace you can see the pictures from some of shooting days.  Its been crazy with it though and tomorrow we're doing my favorite scene.  Its really not a scene, but an extension of it and I storyboarded it one night and Im really excited.  So tomorrow and Sunday will be our last shooting days until June.  I've been contacting a lot of bands lately for music.  Only 2 seem like they're going to let me use their stuff so far...oh sorry, 3.

But yeah 10 day until I graduate.  I also started working on Joe Harris project saturday.  Joe Harris is our DP for my short film.

Other than that, staying busy with work and softball...school all that good stuff.  Even thinking about getting a 3rd job this summer...need the money for Chicago.

but yeah I better finish watching 10th and Wolf and go to bed so I can atleast get a little sleep...

Yesterday was the first day of filming my short film.  It went beautifully.  The acting was fantastic and everyone did an all around good job.

Anyways our next shoot is going to be Sunday and I think it will be the most stressful of all the other shoots.  I will hope and plan everything to make sure we can dodge as many problems as possible.

So yeah check out the myspace and comment on the pictures.  I was really happy with what happened yesterday.

Its weird to think that Alex and I almost dropped the project all together.  I'm glad we didnt.

Shooting for my still, Untitled short film will begin in the next week or so which is very exciting, but stressful.  Alex and I are behind on getting everything together.   I'm definately excited though.

Also the last day for shooting The Breakroom is next Sunday the 31st which is exciting because its one scene on that day I do not want to miss.  I'm excited to see the finished project.  I think it will turn out really well.

I better get back to working on organizing stuff for my short film.

I visited Columbia College yesterday for their orientation.  It was amazing.  I love downtown Chicago and the school.  I got to get together $750 in the next couple months for tution deposit and resident deposit.  I am so excited!

I'm still in Chicago and hopefully later tonight we'll go back down town and go around.  Try and learn the streets and everything to become familar.  We leave tomorrow morning...sad...Haha I feel like I havent worked in forever and it really makes me not want to go back, but really I'm going to need to work my ass off to earn money for school next year.

As far as the short film.  We have a kinda schedule for shooting, but its still not done.  I have a lot of location scouting and dates and times to work.  Plus I'm going to be starting softball soon...haha I'm gonna be so busy hopefully that will stop me from spending money.  Well I'm going to chill and enjoy chicago.

I got into Columbia College!  I'll be going to visit March 9th through the 12th because my parents and my younger brothers are going with so we can visit the college then see Chicago and visit my relatives that live down there.

Also the new date is set for the pick up day for the short film, The Breakroom.  Its March 17th and its the fun scene and I really dont want to miss it, but we'll see how getting off work goes.  I've already asked for like a million days of work.

Also did a rough draft for scheduling for my short film.  Just have to get some date and locations set and the schedule should be good.

I actually have to go right now to see my old General Manager about the date for using the resturaunt and have some lunch while I'm doing it.

More news soon.  Well actually its cool because I've had a lot of news lately.  Things are busy and going great.

Whaaaat up?

So we're not done shooting the short film, The Breakroom.  The big costume wasnt done and we didnt get some scenes done.  What we did over the last couple days looks good from what I saw.  I'm excited to see what it looks like edited.  We do have one more day sometime, hopefully soon.  Read more on my myspace blog(go to link page).

Now its crunch time.  Alex and I have a ton to do for pre production before we start shooting and we have to start shooting in March because May will be an emergency shoot.  If we dont get everything together for pre production..production is gonna be more hell than it would need to be.

I better get back to work on it so I can go to bed.  I am so tired from the this weekend and the filmming.  Its surprising how much it takes out of you.

Happy Valentines Day you lovely people!

I spent my V Day with three other men.  Yeah...I'm a whore.  I'm a whore for storyboarding!  Haha it was our first storyboard meeting and it went grand.  We didnt get a ton done, but it was a good amount for the first day.  Its always nice to get to talk about movies when other people tend not to care.

I have a short film to work on this weekend.  Saturday and Sunday as a Camera Assistant.  It should be a lot of fun.  I'm looking forward to it.

I still have a buuuuuunch of work to do on th short film.  I need to make shooting schedules, find all the props, get more meetings with cast and crew, finish storyboarding, and the list goes on and on.  Hopefully Alex's schedule opens up like its suppose to.  I dont want to have to shoot into May...it would just be a bad idea.

So I got a shit load of stuff to do.  I better get to it.  I'll let you know how the job goes this weekend.

Joe Harris, my short film's Cinematographer is hooking me up with another job.  You gotta love him.  Its shooting Feb. 17th and 18th.  I'm nut sure what my exact job is going to be yet, but its an assistant of some sort.  Its a short film called, The Breakroom.  Its a comedy and the read through tonight was really funny, so I'm excited.

I had read throughs for my short film which is untitled and for a cold read it was good.  Co directing is kinda hard, you'd think it would be easier and in some senses it is, but it does have its disadvantages as well.  So yeah, its going great so far.  Check the myspace for more updates.
